| Description | SpeakerText is a fee-based service that provides transcripts of video or audio recordings. You point the company to your files or URLs and they provide the transcripts as text or XML files. The CaptionBox product (fee-based) provides interactive transcripts for the video content on your website. Users can quote a specific portion of a video thanks to the interactive transcript. A WordPress plugin is available.

| Use on SpokenWeb Project | If we needed a lot of transcription done quickly, this would be a quick and fairly affordable option. Although primarily intended for transcribing video, audio files can be done. Their interactive transcript product seems only available for videos. However, the way this product makes a media file searchable and quotable is promising for our project. |
