| General Description of Archive | The recordings were originally produced by Marysia Lewandowska, an artist, in an attempt to record language as "a site of cultural displacement", documenting lectures, reading, private speech, auctions etc from 1983-1990 on tape cassettes. They have been digitized and put online to create a history and documentation of women and sound and speech. |
