Use on SpokenWeb Project

We plan to use Joomla in the next phase on the SpokenWeb project as one of several CMS’ that we will run in parallel in order to determine the relative advantages and disadvantages of each as a spoken word and poetry platform.

Evaluation

Future Directions

Joomla has a solid user base of over 200,000 community users and contributors (source). Joomla 3.0 is scheduled for release in September 2012 (source).
